Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are drawing inspiration from celebration for their 2021-22 home kits.

The club released the new kits, manufactured by adidas, on Tuesday, June 1. They retain Real Madrid’s traditional all-white home look, but this year pair it with blue and orange. The crew neck collar and sleeve cuffs are blue with orange trim, the adidas logo on the chest is orange, and the adidas shoulder stripes and sponsor logo are blue.

The circular tonal pattern on the jersey is a representation of the Plaza de Cibeles, the monument in central Madrid where the club celebrates its trophy wins. Typically, part of the celebration includes the team captain putting a Real Madrid scarf and flag on Fountain of Cybele, a statue of the Phrygian god of earth and fertility.

The back collar of the jersey features a small circular patch with a pattern similar to that on the shirt, only in blue and orange. The club also released a new name and number font for use in the Champions League and domestic cup competitions this year (starting in 2017, all La Liga teams have used a standard font in league games).

The shorts and socks that go with the kit are white with blue stripes and orange logos.

Real Madrid also unveiled their home goalkeeper kit for 2021-22. It is the same Condivo 21 template adidas is using for many of the major European clubs it outfits. It’s black with a grey collar, grey side panels that run under the sleeves, white adidas and sponsor logos, and a monochromatic white club crest. The graphic on the front and back is inspired by air in motion.
